Job summary

Novo Nordisk invites applications for Senior Manager, Publications to drive efficient, compliant publication execution across therapies. This role coordinates authors, agencies and cross-functional reviewers, maintains records, tracks timelines and budgets, and ensures high data quality and inspection readiness.

You will lead publication projects with growing independence, align with approved plans, and stay current with regulatory guidelines and company SOPs.

Qualifications

• MS/MD/PhD in life sciences or PharmD required.
• CMPP preferred but not required.
• At least 3 years of pharma/biotech/medical communications experience, including coordinating publications.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and drug development processes.
• Basic disease knowledge in diabetes, obesity, and rare disease is a plus.
• Proficiency with publication management and author engagement systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned work with general direction and provide progress updates.
• Independently manage moderately complex publication projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver publication projects.
• Act as project lead for publication deliverables.
• Identify and resolve publication project, process and vendor issues.
• Escalate decisions involving strategy, resources, budget.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and authors.
• Provide guidance on approved publication workflows and systems.
• Engage with external healthcare professionals and KOLs.
• Apply quality assessment of documents and ensure compliance with GPP 2022/ICMJE.
• Stay current with therapeutic areas and competitor products.
