Job summary

The City of Burleson is seeking a senior project manager to lead complex Capital Improvements Program projects, establish objectives and schedules, and oversee budgets, designs and construction documents.

You will coordinate interdepartmental and interagency efforts, manage contracts and services procurement, and support the Mobility, Water/Wastewater and Drainage Masterplans with rigorous attention to customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Construction Management, Project Management, Industrial Technology, or closely related field from an accredited university.
• Six or more years of experience in the field of public works/civil engineering, project management, or construction engineering.
• Any combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior-level project management duties including establishing objectives and schedules; manages scope, budgets, construction documents and engineering designs; participates in services procurement process.
• Plans, manages, designs, and reviews construction plans for capital improvements program projects related to paving, traffic, drainage, water, sewer, vertical infrastructure, Parks and other city facilities.
• Supports oversight and implementation of Mobility Master Plan, Water/Wastewater Masterplan, and Drainage Masterplan with emphasis on customer service and interagency coordination.
