Job summary

The ideal candidate will have six years of progressive management experience and a bachelor's degree. A strong customer service orientation and commitment to continuous improvement are critical. The successful candidate will help set priorities and advance department goals.

Qualifications

• Six years of progressively responsible experience in business management/administration, operations or maintenance.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience.
• Public Works or similar operational experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee approx. 80 employees responsible for street and building maintenance, fleet management and other operations.
• Help establish priorities, advance department goals and initiatives, and ensure delivery of essential services.
• Lead a department with a strong customer service orientation and commitment to continuous improvement.
