Job summary
Edwards Construction Group is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent II to lead complex public works and DSA projects in the Santa Maria/Lompoc area. You will own site operations, ensure safety, and drive project momentum with PMs and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of superintendent experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore, BIM tools, and Trimble Connect. This on-site role offers growth opportunities and a focus on quality and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience in public works or related projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction management and project management.
- Familiarity with Procore, BIM software, Trimble Connect.
- Ability to lead project phases from groundbreaking to commissioning.
- Proactive leadership and mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead one or more active public works projects with annual billings over $10M.
- Prepare and update a 3-week lookahead schedule weekly.
- Document delays and coordinate with PMs to mitigate them.
- Use iPad and Procore daily for RFIs, Submittals, Schedule, etc.
- Navigate BIM model and Trimble Connect; train others.
