Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect, Public Sector, to serve as a focused technical sales resource for Federal, State, Local, and Education customers. The role combines senior technical expertise with strategic account management to align mission objectives with future sales engagements.

The ideal candidate will navigate complex procurement vehicles and communicate value across agency executives, SI partners, and channel partners, including FedRAMP and CMMC compliance

Qualifications

Customer-focused with strong mission and business acumen across Federal, DoD, and SLED environments.
Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills tailored for government audiences.
Ability to work with stakeholders and drive results in complex procurement environments.

Responsibilities

Engage senior agency executives as trusted advisor in Federal, SLED, and defense-adjacent accounts.
Inspire and drive the public sector team with a unified go-to-market approach.
Influence strategic decision-making across civilian agencies, DoD components, and SI/channel partners.
