Job summary

Artheon is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join our Cape May Courthouse team. The role focuses on inspecting public projects across multiple counties to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting public infrastructure projects.
• NICET III certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of public projects (roads, bridges, utilities, etc.) to ensure compliance with design specs, codes, and regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of inspection findings with photographs and reports; prepare inspection reports for clients and authorities.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify and address construction/design issues.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to plans and safety protocols; take appropriate actions on non-compliance.
• Communicate updates to project stakeholders with clear, concise progress and resolutions.
