Job summary

BME Strategies in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Consultant, Workforce Development & Training to design and lead training, coaching, and capacity-building for state and local public health clients.

You will build relationships with public health leaders, translate learning into practical improvements, and guide implementation across diverse regions. This full-time, remote-first role requires deep public health experience and a commitment to equity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years relevant experience, including 4+ years in a consulting firm environment.
• Master's degree in Public Health, health education, adult learning, public administration, or related field.
• People management experience is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years client-facing experience, including 2+ in project leadership roles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design and manage client relationships.
• Serve as a technical expert on specialized workstreams.
• Design scalable, repeatable training and capacity-building curricula.
• Collaborate with evaluation team on training needs assessments and capacity diagnostics.
• Advise on train-the-trainer models and sustainability planning.
• Prepare messengers for effective engagement through trainings and meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with local public health leaders and partner organizations.
• Assess readiness and identify barriers to improve participation and adoption.
• Lead development of the implementation evaluation framework with clear success indicators.
