Job summary

The Fulton County Board of Health in Georgia is seeking a Mgr 3, Hlth Care/TB Program Manager to lead the TB program within the Medical and Preventive Services division. You will direct planning, organize health services, and help shape policies to improve community health outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in health care services or related field and four (4) years of professional managerial or supervisory experience in health care services; or two (2) years at Mgr 2 or equivalent. Some positions may require certification/licensure.
Preferred: Bachelor's in Public Health, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Social Work; master's in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration; 5+ years managing HIV prevention, care or public health programs; 3+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Directs and organizes the delivery of health services; develops and implements policies and procedures; monitors and evaluates healthcare programs; directs subordinate managers and staff.
TB Program Manager provides leadership and oversight of the county TB prevention and control program; supervises staff; monitors surveillance, case management, contact investigations, and treatment activities; ensures compliance with state and federal requirements; analyzes program data.
