Job summary

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) seeks a Senior Healthcare Program Implementation Manager to lead high-impact public health initiatives for veterans health, including suicide prevention and rural health. The role requires MPH-level expertise, program evaluation, and senior-leader communications.

You will guide public health strategies, manage cross-agency collaborations, and mentor a team of mid-career professionals while engaging with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required.
• Experience with suicide prevention programs, field operations, evaluation, and interagency coordination.
• Expertise in program evaluation and performance measurement frameworks, KPI development, and executive dashboards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior government leadership.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship and ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serves as an SME supporting VA/VHA suicide prevention field operations and interagency initiatives.
• Provides program management, research/evaluation leadership, and KPI development with performance indicators.
• Advises on shifting suicide prevention programming from medical to public health approaches.
• Develops public health communications and educational materials for senior leadership presentations.
• Oversees telehealth-based elevated-risk care initiatives and mentors mid-career staff.
