Job summary

Florida Department of Health – Hillsborough County is seeking a Senior Human Services Program Manager to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of community health education programs. The role reports to the Community Health Director and supervises a team of public health professionals.

The position requires strong leadership, management, and communication skills, with accountability for strategic planning, partnerships, and compliance with state policies to address disease

Qualifications

• Current DOH employee (internal promotional opportunity only)
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
• Broad knowledge of public health and disease prevention approaches
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience with supervisory responsibilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience developing and implementing community health education programs
