Job summary

The Somerset County Health Department is seeking a Health Officer to direct and manage county public health programs, lead assessment and planning, and coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies. The role requires ensuring outbreak control, health promotion, and a competent health workforce.

Evening and weekend hours may be required; position is Emergency Essential and part of the Management Service. A master's in public health with relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Master's in Public Health required or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in public health if MPH; or 5+ years with Bachelor's degree.
