Somerset County Health Department is seeking an Environmental Health Program Coordinator to coordinate grant-funded activities, manage grant budgets, and compile required reports. You will assist the Environmental Health Director with program administration and support grant projects.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in administrative or clerical work, with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and customer service by phone and in person.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Six months of administrative, clerical, or secretarial work experience.
• Experience with spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Customer service experience by phone and in person.
• Valid Maryland motor vehicle operator's license (may be required).
