Qualifications

• Must be a member of the California State Bar.
• 7+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience managing complex cases with minimal oversight.
• Prior court appearances, depositions, and trial or administrative hearing experience.
• Strong ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of legal matters with minimal supervision, including public entity defense.
• Conduct high-level legal research and draft complex memoranda, motions, briefs, and opinions.
• Evaluate contracts and provide recommended revisions.
• Lead or contribute to all phases of litigation from intake to trial.
• Supervise discovery including subpoenas, depositions, and expert coordination.
• Advise public entities on litigation risk, policy development, and compliance.
• Represent clients before courts, boards, and government agencies.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• Support practice group development and client training.
