Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of litigation experience.
• Ability to independently manage client relationships and complex caseloads from intake through trial or resolution.
• Strong judgment, initiative and leadership when working with municipal and government clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of legal matters with minimal supervision across multiple practice areas.
• Conduct high-level legal research and draft complex memoranda, motions, briefs, and opinions with minimal oversight.
• Lead or contribute to all phases of litigation: investigations, pleadings, discovery, law and motion, mediation and trial.
• Advise public entities, elected officials, and staff on risk management, policy development and compliance.
• Represent clients before courts, boards, commissions, and government agencies.
• Mentor, train and supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff as needed.
