Job summary

Cynet Systems Inc. is seeking a Windchill Business Architect to design and architect Windchill solutions that fit business requirements. This is a remote role with standard PST business hours and cross-module data, reporting, and portal integration tasks.

The candidate will implement Windchill modules and integrate with ThingWorx, Cognos, and Jasper while delivering robust Java/J2EE/GWT solutions. Strong data and server skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of Windchill Solution Architect experience or similar.
• Deep Windchill PDMLink/MPMLink/QMS/ProjectLink knowledge.
• Experience with ThingWorx, Composer, and Navigate.
• Strong Windchill reporting skills (Cognos, Jasper).
• Proficient Core Java, J2EE, and GWT development.
• Database management with SQL Server and Oracle; basic Apache/XML/XSLT/HTML/JSP.
• Experience building web portal dashboards and data analytics.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork abilities.

Job Overview

The candidate will serve as a Windchill Business Architect, designing and architecting PTC Windchill solutions that align with business requirements. This remote position requires working standard PST business hours and supporting enterprise data, reporting, and web portal integration across various Windchill modules.

Pay Range

$84.80hr - $89.80hr

Location & Working Hours

Candidates must reside and work within the PST or MST time zone with required work hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect solutions using PTC Windchill that align with business requirements.
• Implement and customize Windchill modules such as PDMLink, MPMLink, QMS, and ProjectLink, including Options and Variant Module and Partslink Classification.
• Develop and integrate solutions with ThingWorx Foundation, Composer, and Navigate to enhance business functionalities.
• Utilize Windchill Business Reporting tools like Cognos and Jasper to create actionable reports and insights.
• Develop applications using Core Java, J2EE, and GWT, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Manage and optimize SQL databases, configure and maintain server environments (Apache), and develop web components using XML, XSLT, HTML, and JSP.
• Create and manage web portal dashboards for business data and analytics.

Qualification

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a Windchill Solution Architect or similar role.
• Profound knowledge in Windchill PDMLink, MPMLink, QMS, ProjectLink, Options and Variant Module, and Partslink Classification.
• Experience with ThingWorx Foundation, Composer, and Navigate.
• Expertise in Windchill Business Reporting (Cognos) and Jasper Reporting.
• Strong programming skills in Core Java, J2EE, and GWT.
• Proficient in managing database systems, especially SQL Server and Oracle.
• Technical skills in Apache, XML, XSLT, HTML, and JSP.
• Experienced in developing and managing web portal dashboards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and within a team environment.
