Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned PTC Windchill Developer for a 100% remote role in the United States. The incumbent will design, develop, and support Windchill customizations, integrations, and enhancements, translating manufacturing requirements into robust Windchill solutions.

Strong Java customization, data model knowledge, and integration patterns are essential. The role emphasizes mentorship, code reviews, and collaboration with product, design, and engineering stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of PTC Windchill development experience.
• Strong hands-on Windchill Java API experience.
• Experience with JSP/HTML client customization.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Windchill customizations using the Windchill Java API and PTC-recommended customization patterns.
• Build custom listeners, services, and processors that extend Windchill behavior without compromising future upgrade paths.
• Develop and configure Windchill workflows, lifecycle templates, and object initialization rules.
• Implement migration scripts for legacy PLM data into Windchill, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standards.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code review, design review, pair programming, and structured knowledge sharing.
