Covenant Health's Roane Medical Center in Harriman, TN, seeks a Senior Physical Therapist Assistant to support daily patient care under a licensed PT. This full-time, day-shift position offers opportunities to impact patient outcomes in a modern hospital setting.

You will implement treatments, monitor progress, document outcomes, and participate in program development and staff mentorship. Requires Tennessee PTA licensure and 2+ years' experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: None specified; must meet licensure requirements for Tennessee PTA.
• Minimum Experience: 2+ years with at least 1 year in the specialty area.
• Licensure Requirements: Current Tennessee Physical Therapist Assistant license.

Responsabilités

• Administers treatment programs under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Monitors patient progress and recommends plan modifications as needed.
• Documents patient progress in medical records.
• Provides input for discharge planning with other health professionals.
• Meets targets for treatment ratios and patient/family involvement.
• Acts as clinical instructor for at least one student per year when available.
• Participates in training, orientation and supervision of support staff.
• Contributes to quality improvement and policy development.
