Patient Care Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Paterson, New Jersey is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to join our onsite rehab team in a private practice setting. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and the chance to impact patients' recovery through evidence-based therapies.

You will evaluate, plan, and implement personalized therapy programs, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document progress, educate patients and caregivers, and help patients return to activity

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Commitment to building rapport with patients and a genuine desire to help them recover.
• Proactive approach to collaborating with community resources and networks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement tailored treatment programs as prescribed by physicians.
• Utilize diverse modalities including exercise therapy, manual therapy, and advanced modalities.
• Provide excellent customer service and a welcoming patient experience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes.
• Document progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and strategies to promote recovery.
• Meet operational utilization goals while delivering high-quality patient care.
