Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) seeks a Psychologist Senior for the Central Regional Hospital in Butner, NC. You will support the PST Director, lead treatment teams, and drive strategic goals to deliver integrated care for children, adults, and adolescents.

Responsibilities include supervising staff in de-escalation, guiding behavioral interventions, and coordinating cross‑functional trainings. Eligible for a $15,000 sign‑on bonus with budget approval.

Qualifications

• Advanced competency in behavioral assessment and functional analysis.
• Proficient in individual and group psychotherapy techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist PST Director and Department Heads with goals and program delivery.
• Liaise with treatment/management teams to improve service provision.
• Provide supervision to staff on de-escalation and redirection.
• Guide staff on behavioral interventions and environmental issues.
• Facilitate departmental workgroups, projects, and trainings.
