Job summary

The State of North Carolina, Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services, seeks a Psychiatrist (NS) to provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adolescents at Whitaker PRTF.

The role includes supervising staff, coordinating with the clinical team, and monthly resident reviews. Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is preferred; NC license required. Full benefits and a sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Possess license to practice medicine in NC.
• Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adolescents.
• Supervise Social Work Supervisor and Staff Psychologist; conduct weeklyClinical Team reviews.
• Lead monthly treatment team meetings for each resident.
