Job summary

The State of North Carolina, Caswell Developmental Center, seeks a Psychologist Senior (NS) to lead the development, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of behavior treatment and training programs for individuals with significant intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, who may also have other physical or psychiatric conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum education and experience as stated in the vacancy.
• Eligibility for licensure in North Carolina and two years of professional psychology experience, one postdoctoral.
• Sign-on bonus contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval.
• ADA accommodations and pre-employment checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, evaluate, and supervise behavior treatment and training programs.
• Supervise Staff Psychologists and Behavior Program Specialists (BPS).
• Perform psychological evaluations, functional assessments, and report preparation.
• Engage in direct client contact and therapy; participate in interdisciplinary processes.
• Provide staff training and ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
