Job summary

Caswell Developmental Center in Kinston, NC, is seeking a Psychological Program Director I to lead the Psychology Department, supervise staff, oversee testing, and develop behavioral treatment programs.

The role provides center-level administrative leadership, policy guidance, and collaboration with clinical teams to improve outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities; requires NC psychology licensure eligibility and post‑doctoral experience, and offers an exempt, full-time schedule

Qualifications

• Eligibility for licensure in North Carolina under the NC Psychology Practice Act (G.S. 90-270) and three years of post‑doctoral psychological experience, including coordinating/supervising a program.
• Experience supervising staff psychologists and providing clinical supervision in accordance with the NC Psychology Practice Act.
• Ability to develop and oversee behavioral assessment and treatment programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to staff psychologists per NC Practice Act.
• Oversight of psychological testing and evaluations.
• Develop and deliver behavioral assessment and treatment programs.
• Provide consultative services to treatment teams and collaborate with other disciplines.
