Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking an experienced psychology leader to provide expert consultation and guide the design, implementation, and evaluation of psychology-based programs for clients and project teams.

You will develop assessment tools, interpret organizational data, and influence strategic decisions through evidence-based recommendations while collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of experience or
• Master's in Psychology with 8+ years, or PhD with 6+ years of related experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide expert psychological consultation and guidance to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.


• Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of psychology-based programs, services, and initiatives.


• Develop and enhance assessment methodologies, tools, and processes to support organizational and workforce objectives.


• Conduct and interpret individual, team, and/or organizational assessments and provide actionable recommendations.


• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and inform decision-making.


• Serve as a subject matter expert in psychology, behavioral science, and human performance.


• Lead complex client engagements and influence strategic decisions through evidence-based recommendations.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to address complex challenges and achieve project objectives.


• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and thought leadership to colleagues and clients.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 10+ years of relevant professional experience required; Master's degree in Psychology and 8+ years of related experience or PhD and 6+ years of related experience required.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
