Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) Behavioral Services seeks a physician to provide direct outpatient psychiatric services including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, counseling, and psychopharmacology for assigned patients in Massachusetts.

The role involves developing individualized care plans, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring safety, monitoring responses to therapy, and maintaining timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold current physician licensure in Massachusetts and DEA/state-controlled substances license.
• Board certification in Psychiatry and knowledge of DSM-5 essential.
• Proficiency with standard desktop software including Windows, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Performs psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments for assigned patients.
• Collaborates with physicians and other clinicians to discuss treatment plans and progress.
• Develops individualized care plans with evidence-based psychotherapy and/or pharmacotherapy.
• Monitors patient responses and adjusts treatments while ensuring safety and harm-reduction.
• Completes billing sheets and progress notes within 48 hours of service.
