Qualifikationen

• Must have an RN and NP license in Virginia.
• Master's of Nursing Practice or equivalent advanced nursing degree.
• 3–5 years of behavioral health nursing experience.

Aufgaben

• Conduct service appropriate evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Diagnose health conditions and prescribe medications.
• Monitor medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Provide brief medical consultation, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and supportive counseling.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and care providers.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
• Participate in care coordination and strategic planning across programs.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to other staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Ausbildung

Master's of Nursing Practice (MNP) or equivalent advanced nursing degree

Registered Nurse license (Virginia)

Nurse Practitioner license (Virginia)

National Provider Identifier (NPI)

Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Equivalent combination of education/experience (as permitted)

Valid Virginia driver’s license
