Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients, documenting data in Meditech.
• Establish rapport with patients and adjust care with the MDT to support recovery.
• Assist with admissions and participate in treatment planning with the multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate and implement individualized treatment plans with mental health professionals.
• Apply safety, trauma-informed care, de-escalation, and restraints only when necessary.
• Serve as a role model and supervise nursing staff.
• Investigate patient complaints to promote safety and satisfaction.
• Evaluate staff performance and conduct timely evaluations (EPRS).
• Support organizational goals and participate in committees.
• Perform other appropriate nursing duties as assigned.
