Job summary

Molina Healthcare is seeking an experienced provider relations professional to serve as the primary liaison between the health plan and contracted providers in Michigan. The role emphasizes education, policy adherence, EMR connectivity, and high-level provider satisfaction across FFS and P4P contracts.

The position requires proactive problem-solving, strong communication, and quarterly travel within Michigan to visit providers and deliver formal trainings to office staff and clinicians.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer service, provider services, or claims in managed care or medical office setting.
• Understanding of health care delivery system incl. government-sponsored plans.
• Experience delivering training and facilitating presentations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Engage top-priority, high-volume providers to ensure satisfaction and education on Molina initiatives.
• Serve as primary contact between Molina and complex provider network.
• Educate providers on Molina policies and ensure EMR connectivity and portal adoption.
• Resolve cross-department issues, coordinating with senior leadership as needed.
• Conduct regional provider site visits and schedule visits to meet monthly goals.
• Deliver on-the-spot training and counseling to providers and staff.
