Senior Provider Network Relations Lead (Remote)

Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Sr Provider Relations Advocate to manage the Florida Medicaid/Long-Term Care provider network, including contracting, credentialing, and provider relations across Hillsborough, Polk, Manatee, Hardee and Highland Counties.

You will travel regionally, support SCAs/PNRs, and collaborate with care teams to ensure network adequacy and optimized member benefits. Remote work is allowed within the U.S., with travel as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a network management-related role, such as contracting or provider services.
• 3+ years in ancillary/facility/group credentialing, including Florida requirements.
• 3+ years working with Medicaid/Long Term Care contracts, claims, credentialing.
• 3+ years of experience in performing network adequacy analysis.
• Intermediate knowledge of Medicaid and Long Term Care reimbursement methodologies.
• Intermediate MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access skills.
• Reside in the Tampa SMMC Region D geographic area.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply basic knowledge of provider network functions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain intermediate Microsoft 365 skills for reporting and spreadsheet management.
• Take initiative and use problem-solving skills for issue resolution.
• Work with Sr Provider Relations Advocates and cross-department staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with providers and ancillary providers.
• Perform contracting, credentialing, and network analysis tasks with standard templates.
