Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Provider Contract Analyst to lead development, negotiation, and management of innovative provider reimbursement initiatives. The role requires coordinating with stakeholders to secure resources and align strategy across networks, vendors, and plan operations.

You will participate in high‑level negotiations with major providers, forecast impact, and drive feasibility analyses while ensuring contract execution aligns with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, develop, implement and negotiate provider network strategies.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to allocate resources for initiatives.
• Engage in discussions with internal and external partners to align network plans.
• Facilitate next‑gen provider network opportunities and negotiate contracts.
• Support feasibility models and forecast performance impact of contracting strategies.
• Participate in direct provider negotiations with academic medical centers and multispecialty providers.
• Ensure operational capabilities are established to implement contract and service strategies.
