Job summary

Brooks Instrument, a leader in flow and pressure instrumentation, seeks a Senior Prototype Machinist at its Hatfield, PA headquarters. The role involves setting up and operating conventional and CNC machines to fabricate precision components for engineering prototypes and tooling, with strong emphasis on manufacturability and quality.

You will work with engineers to develop unique parts, interpret complex drawings, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances using precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Machine precision prototypes and components for new product development.
• Set up and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes; write/modify G-code.
• Analyze drawings and specs to determine tolerances and machining requirements.
• Plan and perform complex assignments with originality and independent judgment.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop prototypes and tooling.
• Maintain accuracy with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized shop environment.
