Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Protective Intelligence & Threat Analyst to identify, assess, and communicate physical security threats affecting personnel, operations, and assets. You will leverage OSINT, investigative tools, and analytical techniques to deliver concise intelligence products and actionable recommendations to Corporate Security and leadership.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in protective intelligence or threat assessment and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in protective intelligence, threat investigations, intelligence analysis, or related field.
• Experience with OSINT investigative techniques and protective intelligence processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and investigate potential physical threats to OpenAI, its executives, employees, facilities, operations, and assets using OSINT and investigative tools.
• Conduct persons of interest and behavioral threat investigations to evaluate credibility, intent, capability, and severity and provide risk mitigation recommendations.
• Prepare concise intelligence products and briefings for senior leaders and protective teams.
• Assess threats related to executive travel, events, and meetings requiring heightened protective awareness.
• Provide timely intelligence support to Executive Protection and Corporate Security partners.
• Research geopolitical and emerging developments that may create physical security risks for OpenAI personnel and operations.
• Develop and disseminate threat assessments and intelligence products for decision-making.
