Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services delivers specialized security and risk management solutions designed to help protect people, assets, facilities, and business operations. Our teams provide intelligence‑driven support to help clients identify emerging threats, assess risk, and make informed security decisions in an evolving operational environment.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Protective Intelligence Analyst to strengthen our protective intelligence capabilities through advanced analysis, high‑quality intelligence production, analyst mentorship, and continuous process improvement.

Position Overview

The Senior Protective Intelligence Analyst is a senior individual‑contributor role responsible for conducting, reviewing, and improving protective intelligence analysis in support of corporate clients, executives, facilities, travelers, events, and other designated assets.

Reporting to the Intelligence Manager, Protective Intelligence Program Manager, Intelligence Director, or designated client program lead, the Senior Analyst will serve as a trusted analytical resource who helps ensure intelligence products are accurate, timely, actionable, and aligned with client requirements.

This position emphasizes analytical excellence, quality control, threat assessment, escalation recommendations, and the professional development of junior analysts. The successful candidate will provide constructive feedback, mentor peers, identify intelligence gaps, and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures, reporting standards, and program processes.

This is a senior individual‑contributor position with no personnel management or supervisory responsibilities. The role requires sound judgment, polished writing, operational discipline, and the ability to collaborate effectively with intelligence teams, Global Security Operations Centers (GSOCs), executive protection personnel, clients, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Work schedules will be determined by client and program requirements and may include standard business hours, shifts, weekends, holidays, on‑call availability, and extended coverage during incidents or elevated threat conditions.

Key Responsibilities
Protective Intelligence Analysis and Threat Assessment
  • Conduct senior‑level protective intelligence activities, including monitoring, collection, assessment, reporting, escalation recommendations, and dissemination.
  • Support open‑source intelligence (OSINT) monitoring, social media research, persons‑of‑concern assessments, executive exposure reviews, travel risk support, event monitoring, facility risk assessments, and incident reporting.
  • Evaluate emerging threats and assess the credibility, relevance, reliability, and potential operational impact of information.
  • Identify collection gaps, recurring intelligence requirements, emerging threat patterns, and opportunities to strengthen protective intelligence coverage.
  • Support intelligence responses involving executive travel, corporate events, protests, workplace violence concerns, critical incidents, natural disasters, geopolitical developments, and other client‑impacting situations.
  • Recommend appropriate escalation of threat information to GSOC personnel, client stakeholders, executive protection teams, program leadership, and other relevant partners.
Intelligence Production and Quality Assurance
  • Review, edit, and improve intelligence products, including situation reports, intelligence summaries, threat assessments, incident reports, executive briefings, travel intelligence products, and client‑specific deliverables.
  • Provide substantive analytical feedback to designated reviewers and approvers to strengthen the accuracy, relevance, clarity, and operational value of intelligence reporting.
  • Conduct peer reviews and quality‑control checks for analytical rigor, source attribution, credibility assessments, grammar, formatting, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
  • Identify unsupported conclusions, analytical gaps, source reliability concerns, and potential bias in intelligence products.
  • Ensure intelligence reporting is appropriately tailored to the audience, operational context, and required delivery timelines.
Analyst Mentorship and Tradecraft Development
  • Mentor and coach junior analysts in intelligence collection, research methods, source validation, credibility assessment, bias mitigation, structured analysis, written reporting, and briefing skills.
  • Reinforce appropriate application of the intelligence cycle, from requirement development and collection through analysis and timely dissemination.
  • Provide constructive peer feedback that improves analytical judgment, writing quality, and stakeholder communication.
  • Assist analysts in understanding stakeholder requirements, setting realistic product expectations, and meeting operational deadlines.
  • Promote a collaborative, professional environment that encourages analytical discipline, continuous learning, and accountability.
Program Development and Operational Collaboration
  • Assist program leadership in developing and refining standard operating procedures, quick‑reference guides, reporting templates, escalation criteria, intelligence production standards, and quality‑control processes.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies, recurring operational challenges, training needs, and opportunities to improve intelligence support.
  • Coordinate with GSOC leadership, client security teams, executive protection teams, investigations, crisis management, travel risk personnel, local partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership with recommendations concerning product quality, workflow effectiveness, training priorities, and operational deliverables.
  • Protect confidential and sensitive information while ensuring compliance with applicable privacy requirements, laws, organizational policies, and client‑specific procedures.

Note: This position provides analytical mentorship and operational guidance. Personnel assignments, performance management, and supervisory decisions remain the responsibility of designated managers and supervisors.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.
  • Formal intelligence training required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of direct protective intelligence experience in corporate intelligence, military intelligence, federal, state, or local law enforcement intelligence, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing and editing intelligence products and providing constructive analytical feedback.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching junior analysts or professional peers; prior personnel management or supervisory experience is not required.
  • Strong understanding of the intelligence cycle, open‑source research, source validation, credibility assessment, bias mitigation, structured analysis, and written intelligence production.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief and communicate professionally with executives, clients, peers, and operational stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess threats, prioritize information, evaluate uncertainty, and recommend appropriate escalations.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines during routine operations and high‑pressure incidents.

  • Ability to use or quickly learn intelligence platforms, alerting systems, social media research tools, mapping applications, travel risk platforms, databases, and client‑specific systems.
