Luminant Generation Company LLC is seeking a Protection & Control Technician Senior in Granbury, TX. Under Lead P&C Technicians, you will maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot protection and control equipment for Fossil Generation Facilities, and perform relay testing using schematics and system knowledge.

You will document all field work and projects. The role requires extensive field work, travel away from home, and extended hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of PSD STAR program mandatory.
• Significant field experience in P&C services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot protection and control equipment for fossil generation facilities.
• Test electromechanical and microprocessor protective relays.
• Test instrument transformers, transducers, meters, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair protection control equipment and relays using schematics.
• Document all projects and field work.
