Job summary

The role requires 5-8+ years in HV protection, experience with SEL and GE relays, and strong communication skills. Some travel (<25%) is expected. Base pay ranges 140k–165k USD plus 20–30% bonus and benefits.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or similar major with 5-8+ years in protection & control, power systems.
- Experience in protection & control of HV systems and renewable energy applications.
- Strong communication skills and travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Lead protection & control issues across HV substations, collection systems, and renewable plants.
- Support PRC-028/029/030 regulatory requirements, event reporting, and corrective actions.
- Lead NERC PRC compliance efforts including coordination and performance monitoring.
