Job summary

Scripps Research in La Jolla, CA, is seeking a Senior Manager, Prospect Management & Research to lead portfolio strategy and streamline donor research for frontline fundraisers. You will drive data-informed decisions, oversee prospect assignments, and partner with BI to deliver actionable dashboards.

The role requires 4+ years in prospect development, expertise in donor profiles, wealth screening, and proficient use of CRM and research tools. On-site four days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years in prospect development including research and management.
• Experience writing donor profiles and wealth screening.
• Familiarity with APRA competencies preferred.
• Experience with Blackbaud or CRM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio reviews and prospect assignments with frontline fundraisers.
• Oversee processes behind prospect management and stage definitions.
• Produce comprehensive research profiles and donor briefings.
• Develop and maintain PMR policies and training resources.
• Partner with BI to design Power BI dashboards for portfolios.
• Ensure data quality and confidentiality in all research activities.
