Job summary

Amazon's AWS Professional Services team seeks an experienced Cloud Architect to work with customers, understand their requirements, and design tailored cloud solutions. You will help drive the sales process with technical expertise and guidance throughout the cloud journey.

Responsibilities include designing complex AWS solutions, providing best practices, collaborating with account teams to ensure realistic proposals, and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management (security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA).
• Experience with SDLC and agile/iterative methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions, estimates, and proposals to deliver customer business outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices during the sales and implementation phases.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable.
• Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions.
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
