Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager - Propulsion Systems to lead end-to-end planning of development, manufacturing and test of propulsion systems. This role can be worked remotely from an approved location in the United States.

You will coordinate with product, engineering and manufacturing teams, manage supply chains and timelines for spacecraft missions, and decide on pragmatic upgrade timings while keeping production moving and customers informed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering or program management environments.
• Degree in engineering, physical sciences, or a related technical field.
• Experience in test campaigns, hardware manufacturing, or production lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning of development, manufacturing and test of propulsion systems.
• Serve as primary link to product group and guide roadmap execution.
• Maintain supply chains and kitting, track timeline needs for spacecraft missions.
• Decide on pragmatic timing for introducing product upgrades and keep production moving.
• Break down mission specs into testing targets and build realistic validation plans.
• Coordinate propulsion with other hardware and electrical integration efforts.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor moves, and market shifts to guide decisions.
