Muon Space, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for Propulsion Systems to lead end-to-end planning across development, manufacturing and testing of propulsion hardware.

This role can be worked remotely from an approved location in the United States; you will coordinate with product, engineering, and supplier teams to keep production moving and meet mission timelines.

The position offers a salary range of $206,000 to $232,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working in engineering or program management environments.
• A relevant degree in engineering, physical sciences, or a related technical field.
• Practical work experience in test campaigns, hardware manufacturing, or production lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning of development, manufacturing and test of propulsion systems.
• Serve as the primary link to the product group, guiding strategic product decisions and ensuring the roadmap is executed smoothly.
• Keep supply chains steady and kitting organized; track timeline needs for spacecraft missions.
• Decide on pragmatic timing for introducing product upgrades.
• Act as the point person for thruster customers, providing transparent updates and involving the propulsion team when needed.
• Break down top-level mission specs into clear testing targets and build plans to validate them.
• Ensure propulsion works hand-in-hand with the rest of hardware and coordinate electrical integration efforts.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor moves, and market shifts to drive Muon’s overall success.
