Job summary

Relativity Space in Mississippi is seeking a Senior Propulsion Test Engineer to work with test stands and test articles for Terran R. You’ll see a heavy-lift orbital vehicle come to life through testing, solving a variety of technical problems and continuously improving processes to move faster and more safely.

The role spans Design & Build, Operations, and Integration, with shifts in morning or evening and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering required.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate common power tools.
• Valid driver’s license; willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Design fluid, gas, cryogenic systems and P&IDs; select components.
• Design and model structural/mechanical systems; create fabrication drawings.
• Source components and write fabrication instructions; bring test stands to life.
• Maintain test stands via preventive maintenance and rapid response to failures.
• Conduct test operations on high-energy components and stages; review data.
