Job summary

Relativity Space is building Terran R and a culture of rapid learning. As a Senior Propulsion Test Engineer, you’ll work with test stands and articles across design/build, operations, and integration, moving heavy‑lift hardware from Long Beach to Stennis for rigorous testing.

You’ll solve diverse technical problems, thrive under tight schedules, and collaborate across teams. Candidates should have a mechanical or aerospace engineering background, and be prepared for on‑site work at government

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate common power tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Design and build fluid, structural, and mechanical test stands and components.
• Operate test stands and monitor telemetry and GUIs.
• Lead test campaigns and refine processes for faster iterations.
• Prepare test articles for testing with inspections and checks.
• Coordinate across teams for test article non-conformances and part requirements.
