Job summary

Archer is seeking an experienced mechanical or mechatronics engineer to design and build automated test equipment for PCBAs and modules in our San Jose lab. You will collaborate with design, system, and reliability engineers to define validation test plans.

You will lead testing programs, investigate failures, and plan critical tests for new technologies. A Bachelor or MS in engineering and 2+ years in automated testing are required; salary ranges from $134,400 to $168,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or MS in mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
• 2+ years of physical testing and analysis experience.
• 2+ years of automation design and build experience.
• Experience leading technical projects to completion.
• Good understanding of electrical circuit design and power electronics.
• Experience with Python or NI LabVIEW/TestStand/VeriStand.
• Experience with electrical test equipment and hand/power tools.
