Job summary

Archer in San Jose, California, is seeking a Sr Lab Automation Software Engineer to lead automation for embedded/aerospace test systems. You will develop scalable automated test frameworks and sequences across flight-controls and high-voltage subsystems, in a safety-critical environment.

The role requires 7+ years in system-level test/automation, strong Python/C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, or LabVIEW, and hands-on HIL lab automation experience with NI VeriStand and dSpace. Equal opportunity employer.

• Establish regression testing, automated reporting, and data analysis pipelines.

What you will do:

What you need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Aerospace engineeringor related field
• 7+ years of experience in system-level test/ automation for complex embedded or aerospace systems
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, or LabVIEW
• Demonstrated experience automating HIL labs for safety-critical systems
• Hands-on experience with simulation and test platforms (NI Veristand, dSpace)

Bonus qualifications

• Understanding ofFAA certification (ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254)
• Knowledge of model-based design and verification workflows
