Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Propulsion Technician for the second shift. You will perform orbital-tube welding and assemble propulsion subassemblies to exacting aerospace standards.

Applicants should have 4+ years in propulsion assembly, be adept with blueprints and drawings, and operate a range of tools and shop equipment. Union environment and shift flexibility are noted in the job posting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years propulsion assembly experience on high-reliability products (aerospace preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform orbital-tube welding for propulsion subassemblies and tank closeouts.
• Assemble, wire, route and terminate thermistors and heaters per drawings and specs.
• Visually inspect propulsion assemblies to drawings and specs.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, aerial lifts and other equipment as required.
• Support cross-functional teams with design, methods and tooling considerations.
