Job summary

The Boeing Company seeks propulsion systems engineers (mid-career to senior) for the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, in Boeing Defense, Space & Security. You will define propulsion component requirements, oversee interfaces, and guide testing, refurbishment, and launch activities.

Active security clearance (TS/SCI) and US citizenship are required. The role is 100% onsite with a 9/80 schedule and relocation support available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related work experience for mid-career (Level 3).
• Experience with rocket propulsion and propulsion system components.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for propulsion system components for cryogenic, oxidizer, bi-prop, mono-prop, pneumatic, hydraulic, or pyrotechnic systems.
• Coordinate interfaces between propulsion components and overall systems.
• Design propulsion components to meet subsystem design and performance criteria; support qualification testing.
• Lead or support engineers and technicians during hazardous and non-hazardous operations across refurbishment, integration, test, launch, and recovery.
