Job summary

Stellantis NV is seeking a Senior Designer for the Propulsion-HVAC & Engine Systems team in Auburn, AL. The role focuses on NX/CAD packaging, concepts, and checking of Engine System components including air induction and exhaust systems.

Responsibilities include advanced packaging studies, manufacturability assessments, and collaboration with engineers to support manufacturing and service. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in NX/CAD with strong GD&T and 2D/3D drawing skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in design/engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of NX or CATIA design experience and strong NX parametric solid modeling.

Responsibilities

• Create explicit geometry using parametric modeling.
• Complete packaging feasibility studies and manufacturability analyses.
• Perform packaging assessments for Air Induction, Cooling, HVAC, Fuels and Exhaust systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to complete manufacturing/service studies.
• Redesign models and complex assemblies to improve design quality.
• Conduct commonization studies.
