Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services seeks a Senior Designer for the PHES Propulsion-HVAC & Engine Systems Design Services team in Auburn Hills, MI. You will use NX CAD to perform packaging, concepts, designs, layouts and checking of Engine System components, including air induction and exhaust systems.

Responsibilities include creating explicit geometry, feasibility studies, packaging assessments, collaboration with engineers, and redesigns of complex assemblies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of NX or CATIA experience; basic skills test may be administered.
• Minimum 7 years' design experience with relevant experience
• Extensive experience with NX parametric solid modeling and Teamcenter

Responsibilities

• Create explicit geometry using parametric modeling.
• Perform advanced packaging feasibility studies.
• Conduct manufacturability and feasibility studies.
• Package assessments of Air Induction, Cooling, HVAC, Fuels and Exhaust systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to complete manufacturing/service studies.
• Redesign models and complex assemblies to improve design quality.
• Conduct commonization studies.
