Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering for safety‑critical aerospace systems (controls preferred).
• Strong background in requirements management, system integration, and verification strategies.
• Familiarity with propulsion systems, engine control systems, or embedded control systems.
• Demonstrated experience working across multidisciplinary teams in a structured engineering process environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements development, decomposition, and validation activities for engine control systems.
• Collaborate with Systems Architecture to define architecture, interfaces, and performance requirements.
• Ensure traceability from user requirements through subsystem specifications.
• Partner with management to execute software, hardware, and control system development activities.
• Support environment characterization, interface control documentation, and integration planning.
• Develop and maintain system verification plans and certification strategies.
• Provide technical guidance to cross‑functional teams and drive technical reviews.
• Support planning, risk management, and execution of engineering activities aligned with schedule and process requirements.
