Job summary

SOCOTEC in Charlestown, MA seeks a Senior Proposal Writer to join the US Corporate Proposals team. This full‑time role focuses on developing proposals for public-sector clients, coordinating qualification packages, and partnering with service-line leaders to articulate SOCOTEC’s capabilities.

The position requires in‑office collaboration with technical leaders, strong writing and project management skills, and expertise with InDesign, Deltek Vantagepoint, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in proposal writing, estimating, and qualifications preparation.
• Public-sector procurement knowledge preferred (Massachusetts/New England).
• Strong organizational and written communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate RFP responses and qualification packages.
• Collaborate with service line leaders to define scope and cost.
• Develop proposals tailored to public-sector procurement requirements.
• Maintain awareness of regional procurement practices to strengthen positioning.
• Quality control of proposals and coordination with Legal and Finance.
