Job summary

Boston Hale, a leading AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking an accomplished proposals professional to join its high-performing Business Development function in a hybrid role across New York, DC, or Boston. You will partner with senior transactional lawyers to turn credentials and deal experience into persuasive client materials.

You’ll lead pitches from brief through submission, shape compelling messaging for each opportunity, and coordinate with pricing and BD colleagues on commercial propositions,

Qualifications

• Strong BD/proposals experience in legal services or comparable sectors.
• First-class writing and presentation skills.
• Proven stakeholder management and project leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

We are working with a leading AmLaw 50 law firm seeking an accomplished proposals professional to join its high-performing Business Development function. This is a visible role partnering closely with senior transactional lawyers on strategically important opportunities.

You’ll sit at the heart of the firm’s corporate growth efforts, helping turn complex credentials and deal experience into persuasive, commercially focused client materials.

The role will involve:

• Leading sophisticated pitches, proposals and RFP responses from brief through to submission
• Partnering with senior lawyers across M&A, capital markets and related transactional practices
• Developing compelling messaging tailored to individual clients and opportunities
• Working alongside pricing and BD colleagues on competitive commercial propositions
• Managing proposal content, credentials and experience materials
• Juggling multiple high-priority projects while maintaining exceptional quality

We’re looking for someone with strong legal-sector BD/proposals experience, or comparable experience within investment banking or consulting, combined with first-class writing, stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
