Job summary

K2M Design, Inc. seeks a Proposal Manager to lead the end-to-end proposal process for municipal, county, state, and federal pursuits. You’ll coordinate a small marketing team, craft compelling responses, and ensure timely production of high-quality proposals.

This role offers flexibility with office locations or fully remote work for the right candidate. Candidates should have 10+ years in proposal development and strong narrative-writing skills, with expertise in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations.
• 10+ years’ work experience writing and developing proposals.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs; InDesign required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and O365 programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal process, including creation, organization, development, and production of proposals and related information.
• Provide technical writing, editing, production coordination, document management, and content development for proposals.
• Research background materials and interpret requirements to prepare responses.
• Produce content for sales and marketing, including proposals, marketing materials, and web content.
• Develop go-to-market content strategies in deliverables with market leaders.
• Maintain databases for branding, resumes, project experience, and services.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the proposal process, including the creation, organization, development, and production of proposals and other formally requested customer and/or market-initiated information.
• Provides technical writing, technical editing, production coordination, document management, and content development of proposal documentation through final production.
• Researches background materials and interprets proposal requirements to prepare responses.
• Produce writing and other content creation tasks for the sales and marketing teams, including marketing materials, proposals, web site, social media, and general business communications.
• Prepares proposals and presentations by developing go to market content strategies in deliverable material with market leaders.
• Maintaining databases for branding, proposal / marketing content and standard components, such as company information, resumes, project experience sheets, and services.
• Assist with the application and submittal to design competitions and other types of company awards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University with a background in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations.
• (10+) years’ work experience writing and developing proposals.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs. Indesign a must.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and O365 Programs.
• Aptitude for learning new programs.
• Experience working on public proposals.
